like a boulder dropped in water now a pebble cast
silver clouds of angry beauty darken the sky
but they cant hide the sun forever
an orchestra of violins brings silence to voice
eyes once bright now linger empty
light sometimes fails in the face of darkness
fires burn, smokeless
stars which upon once wishes were made
now sit at the bottom of oceans and lakes
clouds that spread life
now typhoons that steel it away
it’s the picture that hangs crooked
one of that perfect oases
sun painting the sky in a beautiful mosaic
close your eyes and try real hard, maybe one day you’ll see it
