Trees holding hands provide shade overhead
He walks, guitar slung on his back
Whistling a tune, out of harmony with the wind
Broken lyrics run through his mind
you were my Cleopatra
i your Michelangelo
mismatch to some
but to me you were the one
love that inspired Da Vinci
to put a smile on Mona Lisa
Grass sways as wind leaves kisses in the form of dew
Night masked by the loss of the moon
Fireflies like twinkling stars guide his path
Walking a thousands miles
Not to see, but to get away from you
